While perhaps only Putin and I are still actively reeling from the rigged men’s figure skating dancing free skate, I think this little video might convince even the staunchest of Comet haters that PLUSHENKO WAS ROBBED!

How can you be Olympic champion when you don’t even try the quad? If you’re going to take the quad out, why not take out another triple axel and just have more of the other stuff so the International Skating Union can make it more into an “art” recital. …
Figure skating gets no respect because of outcomes like this. More feathers, head-flinging and so-called step sequences done at walking speed – that’s what the system wants.
I am going to watch hockey, where athletes are allowed to push the envelope. A real sport.

As far as fair judging. Um, I guess we’ll leave it to the next Winter Olympics in Russia to be fair? Well, at least we know if it’s rigged there, it will be rigged to award dry-humping.

I, too, wondered why he didn’t dry-hump that woman. I mean, he took all the time to jump the barrier. Or maybe he only dry-humps dudes? Who knows. The mystery of what makes the Comet tick besides steely, ex-Soviet determination shall remain unsolved.

DUDE. That was awesome! I must admit, I haven’t watched any of this year’s Olympic games (except in passing – or when it’s on a TV where I’m out and about) — I do feel that I have been remiss now. Hilarious! I am now firmly in your corner on this wonderful Comet you speak of so highly. Bravo.
It really is magic. I think I’m one of only very few who get truly Olympic Game nuts. I love it. I’m actually watching it right now in a bar while I internet and keep an eye on the live stats, as well. I don’t mess around. Sven Kramer just got DQ’d in speed skating! Dang!
